How did you find TMAN?: Just Surfed On In!
Comments: To whom it may concern. I atudied in Oregon at Bob Barrow Pro-Karate in the late 70's and early 80's. Tang Soo Do was the style. Chuck Norris was Mr. Barrows instructor, at that time Tang Soo Do Chuck Norris karate went through a transformation and changed it's name to Champion Karate systems. The school was then changed to a young Black Belt who purchased it from Bob. That persons name was Chip Wright who is a Black Belt and in the black belt hall of fame as a fighter of the year. Additionally the orgaization was renamed UFAF (UNITED FIGHTING ARTS FEDERATION). I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE ADDRESSES OF ANY UFAF, OR LISTINGS NATION WIDE.

I am a breaker who just set what I believe is a world record, 1078lbs of 2" 16x8 cement patio block stacked 6 to a stack with 2" spacers in 60 seconds, I realize this would have been no challenge for Sensei Barathy but I wear the same type of gi that he wore on Carson in '79 and would like to add as much info about the man who inspired me to break to my website as possible. I studied under one of Al Tracy's students John Fite for about 14 months straight, got to meet Mr. Ed Parker at a seminar in Wictha Falls, Tx. in 1980, also got to participate in some of the work-outs. We have signed up over 150 new active students since we opened Jan. 9th. The grand opening was a great success, However, the film auditions were not as successful as I had hoped for. Sonny and Jim did an outstanding job. By the way they have cast me for their next upcoming movie. The name is Living by the Sword. I am playing the Lt.. Colonial. I would just like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for all your help. I have a problem that I hope you can help me with. I have been fighting a Bill that has come before committee at the State Capital. this is HB1650. You can view this bill @ WWW.ARKLEG.STATE.US This is an attempt to tax and regulate the martial art industry. The way it reads is, If I host a tournament of any size and award a child with trophy, it automatically registers that child as a semi-pro and he/she as to by a license for a cool grand and the event must pay a 5% tax on all proceeds. All events are subject to audit and must be sponsored by the American Legion. As you can see this is clearly stupid. If you can help please let me know soon, time is running out.
